Mar. 1963, Shanghai Pesticide Research Insititute was established with the approval of Shanghai Municipal Government.
　　Nov. 1976, Shanghai Pesticide Science and Technology Information Center was set up, approved by Shanghai Chemical Industry Bureau.
　　Aug. 1978, The Editorial Department of 《Translated Collections of Pesticide》, renamed 《World Pesicide》now, was approved by the Science and Technology Committee of PRC.
Aug. 1979, The Pesticide Examination Center of Shanghai came into being, approved by Shanghai Science and Technology Committee.
　　Apr. 1985, Shanghai Pesticide Research Institute became the base for Shanghai Research Center of Bio-Chemical Technology, Ministry of Chemical Industry of China, approved by Ministry of Chemical Industry of PRC.
　　May. 1990 Shanghai Pesticide Standard Committee waw established, approved by Shanghai Technology Control Bureau.
　　Sep. 1995 Shanghai Pesticide Research Institute set home to Shanghai Pesticide Quality Supervisory & Test Station, approved by Shanghai Technology Control Bureau.
　　1995 Shanghai Pesticide Research Institute became the base for Shanghai Branch of National Pesticide P&D South Center, approved by the Science and Technology Committee of PRC.

1963年3月，经上海市人民政府批准成立上海市农药研究所。
1976年11月，经上海化学工业局批准成立上海农药情报中心站。
1978年8月，经国家科学技术委员会批准设立上海测试中心农药行业测试点。
1985年4月，化工部批准上海市农药研究所为化学工业部上海生物化学工程研究所中心挂靠单位。
1990年5月，上海技术监督局批准于所内设立上海市农药标准化技术委员会。
1995年9月，上海技术监督局批准上海市农药研究所为上海市农药质量监督检验站挂靠单位。
1995年经国家科学技术委员会批准，上海市农药研究所为国家南方农药创制中心上海基地依托单位。
